When does the Minister expect to see the benefits of the funding supplied to the winners of the Tidal Lagoon Challenge?

The Tidal Lagoon Challenge has already successful engaged with stakeholders in Wales and wider UK to raise the profile of the benefits of a Welsh Tidal Lagoon sector and the opportunities this presents to Welsh coastal communities.
All the research work will be completed and data and reports shared by March 2026. A number of interim reports will be produced from March 2025 onwards, and we expect the sector to derive benefit from these.
