What conversations has the Minister had with Alstom, in relation to their plans for a new direct rail service between London and north Wales?

I have had no direct discussions with Alstom regarding their bid to operate direct rail services between London and north Wales. It will be essential that they work closely with TfW to develop the best possible timetable for passengers if they are successful in their application with the Office for Rail and Road.
