Will the Minister provide an update on the support available for children seeking to access additional learning needs support while undergoing diagnosis?

Additional Learning Needs (ALN) are identified by either a school, pupil referral unit, further education institution or a local authority. It is not necessary for a child to have a medical diagnosis to receive Additional Learning Provision. Support should not be delayed whilst waiting for any diagnosis if needs and relevant support can be identified.
