I regularly discuss the well-being and mental health of farmers with the Deputy Minister for Mental Health and Wellbeing including the work undertaken by The DPJ Foundation to combat the stigma associated with mental health matters.
Officials from Rural Affairs and Health and Social Services are working together to ensure new strategies on mental health & wellbeing, and suicide and self-harm prevention, endeavour to support rural and farming communities.
