What discussions has the Minister had with the Minister for Economy in relation to building flood defences to encourage businesses back to the area, following the Pontypridd floods in 2020?

I meet regularly with the Minister for Economy to discuss a range of issues, including flooding. We have been clear that our Risk Management Authorities (RMAs) must prioritise flood risk investment towards homes and communities, where reducing risk to life takes priority. My officials continue to discuss flood risk management on an ongoing basis with Rhondda Cynon Taf Country Borough Council, in their capacity as RMA.
