What is the Minister doing to promote Welsh art and artists?

Welsh Government support for the Arts is channelled through the Arts Council of Wales (ACW) who operate at arm’s length from Government. All individual funding decisions are made by ACW and the Welsh Government does not intervene in these decisions.
ACW provides support across a range of artistic disciplines through both multi-year and project funding. The outcomes of its recent Investment Review is evidence of its commitment to supporting the arts in Wales, and increasing the opportunity for participation, engagement and access to the arts for everyone in Wales.
