What assessment has the Minister made of the Welsh Local Government Association's predictions that running costs for councils will increase by £200million in the next two to three years?

Answered by Cabinet Secretary for Finance and Local Government | Answered on 01/11/2016

The effect of austerity policies pursued by the Westminster Government is felt directly in local government in Wales. The figure of £200million represents the WLGA's assessment of the impact of centre government cuts on their members.
