What is the Welsh Government doing to provide mental health support for older adults?

The NHS Executive is working with all health boards to develop a Strategic Mental Health Programme and a Patient Safety Programme. The aim is to drive improvements in the quality and safety of mental health services, including older adult services.
Our draft Mental Health and Wellbeing Strategy has just been launched for consultation. The Strategy outlines our proposed priorities for all ages, including older adults. We encourage everyone to respond to this consultation to inform our future priorities.
