Will the Minister confirm whether the recent farming protests in Wales will be taken into consideration alongside evidence from the official consultation when the Welsh Government reviews its next steps for the sustainable farming scheme?
Welsh Government has appointed a contractor to conduct an independent analysis of the Sustainable Farming Scheme Consultation responses. The analysis will include substantive responses submitted from both individuals and organisations, as well as those submitted as part of a campaign. Alongside the formal analysis, we will also consider and report on feedback gathered from the 10 Welsh Government Sustainable Farming Scheme Roadshows, which demonstrates the sentiment of the industry.
A detailed analysis of the responses will be shared with Welsh Ministers and published online.
