Will the Minister provide an update on what action has been taken following the publication of the report on the A55 junctions 14, 15, 16 and 16a improvements in February 2022?
Since the February 2022 report, the Welsh Government has included two projects in the National Transport Delivery Plan for the A55, focusing on modal shift and roadspace reallocation, road safety and resilience. Any improvement work identified for these two projects will be prioritised on an all-Wales basis and taken forward when funding is available.
In addition, the North Wales Transport Commission took an evidence-led approach to develop recommendations for multi-modal, integrated transport solutions in North Wales. The Commission published its final report and recommendations on 10 December 2023 and we will provide our response shortly.
