What targets does the Welsh Government have for the Cynllun Pontio scheme over the next five years?

The Cynllun Pontio is currently in its fourth year. 45 have completed the programme to date and a further 16 are taking part during the 2023/24 academic year.
I have agreed to fund a further 20 places for the 2024/25 academic year.
Targets beyond 2024/25 will be subject to available budgets and based on the updated data analysis that accompanies the Welsh in Education Workforce Plan, which will be published in the summer term.
