Local authorities across Wales are responsible for ensuring suitable education for children and young people in their area, including those with additional learning needs (ALN).
All local authorities must keep their arrangements for children and young people with ALN, and those of their maintained schools, under review. Further information about this duty is available at Chapter 7 of the ALN Code for Wales.
