What discussions did the Minister have with teaching unions before the plans for school holiday reform entered consultation, given that every teaching union opposes the reform?

My officials and I have met with education workforce unions on several occasions. They have been engaged as part of the consultation process and we will reflect on all comments and responses submitted, as part of the process around the ongoing Consultation on the School Year.
This work is being carried out in collaboration with Sian Gwenllian the Plaid Cymru designated member as part of the Co-operation Agreement between the Welsh Government and Plaid Cymru.
