What discussions has the Minister had with Wales's four police and crime commissioners regarding the Final Police Settlement 2024-2025?
The Policing Partnership Board for Wales received an update on financial matters at its meeting on 18 December 2023. I chaired this meeting of the Board, which was attended by Welsh Police and Crime Commissioners as well as other senior criminal justice stakeholders.
The discussion considered the Welsh Government Written Statement on the Provisional Police Settlement for 2024-25, which was published on 14 December 2023. A Written Statement on the Final Police Settlement for 2024-25 was published on 31 January 2024, and this will be considered with policing partners through my regular ongoing engagement with them.
