Will the Minister provide an update on the Welsh Government's objectives regarding their Nation of Sanctuary plan?
The Welsh Government is committed to the vision of Wales as a Nation of Sanctuary.
The Nation of Sanctuary Plan, published in 2019, contained 134 commitments to support people seeking sanctuary in Wales to rebuild their lives and contribute fully to our society. Of those actions, over 99% are in progress or completed.

Throughout 2024 we will undertake engagement to consider how to refresh our Nation of Sanctuary Plan and seek to continue to support people seeking sanctuary in Wales.
