My written statement of 29 November 2023 sets out my plans to raise standards of literacy for all learners across Wales this includes developing a reading culture.
Through annual grant funding to the Books Trust Cymru and Books Council for Wales we provide high quality reading resources to all children, from as young as 6 months old, and their families encouraging a reading culture within the home.
