What steps is the Minister taking to address the lack of consultation by RWE with the affected communities regarding the Awel-y-Mor windfarm off the coast of Llandudno?

Answered by Minister for Climate Change | Answered on 06/02/2024

As the Awel-Y-Mor windfarm has a potential electricity generation of over 350MW it is therefore considered a Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project (NSIP). As a result, the planning decision was made by the UK Government, not the Welsh Government. Therefore, if you are concerned with the Development Consent Order process, you will have to raise such concerns with the UK Government.
