What policies does the Welsh Government have in place to prevent construction companies from land banking in Wales?

Planning Policy Wales (PPW) seeks to ensure that Local Development Plans bring forward land in a timely way through the use of a housing delivery trajectory. This provides evidence of expected rates of construction and brings transparency to issues of housing delivery.. The Competition and Markets Authority is currently undertaking a review of housebuilding. We will consider any evidence this study uncovers on land banking and any remedies they propose.
