In developing the proposals set out in the Consultation on the School Year, we engaged with a range of stakeholders including Local Authorities in Scotland and England. Their views were also included in research on the structure of the school year carried out in 2023 and is available on the Welsh Government website.
This work is being carried out in collaboration with Sian Gwenllian the Plaid Cymru designated member as part of the Co-operation Agreement between the Welsh Government and Plaid Cymru.
