What discussions is the Minister having with the Arts Council for Wales on tackling bullying in the screen industry?
The Arts Council of Wales support Ffilm Cymru, the development agency for Welsh Film, through multiyear funding. Ffilm Cymru have published a ‘White Label Code of Practice’ which is shared with all funding recipients to tailor and use.
Creative Wales delegates administration of its funding for film to Ffilm Cymru Wales. As part of this agreement Ffilm Cymru Wales is expected to encourage production companies to adopt best practice in relation to wellbeing on set, which could include the appointment of Intimacy Coordinators, Wellbeing Facilitators, and Access Coordinators where appropriate.
