Will the Minister provide year-on-year figures of steel imports to Wales since 2007?

Data for ‘Iron and Steel’ imports to Wales are available as a combined category in the HMRC Regional Trade Statistics table building tool for the period 2013-2022. The tool includes import data in terms of both value and volume. Separate data for steel are not published at the Wales level.
HMRC have implemented a number of changes to their data collection methods which means that long-term comparisons should be treated with caution.
