Will the Minister explain why the Welsh Government decided not to continue holiday free school meals without giving notice to parents and local authorities beforehand?

Holiday provision was a time limited policy introduced during the pandemic, which we were able to extend to the end of the May half-term 2023.
The Welsh Government received a claim for Judicial Review on 15 September in relation to the provision of free school meals over the school holidays. As this is active litigation, it would not be appropriate to comment further on this matter at this stage.
