What steps is the Welsh Government taking to address the issue raised by UNISON in November 2023 that teaching assistants are not sufficiently trained to deliver the curriculum in Wales?

I met with representatives from UNISON on 10 January to discuss the results of the survey and how we can better support teaching assistants. We will continue to work closely with them and our key partners to enable teaching assistants to improve their skills and help them to engage with professional learning.
