What efforts are being made by the Welsh Government to reduce the number of teachers taking early retirement in Wales?

Teachers' pensions have not been devolved and therefore remain the responsibility of the Department for Education. The Teachers' Pension Scheme has provision for early retirement and decisions about access to these provisions are a matter for the teacher, the employers, and the pension scheme.
