Further to WQ90369, what proportion of the Local Authority Education Grant Reform budget is allocated to additional learning needs provision and additional learning needs implementation?

In the 2024-25 Draft Budget, £54.405m has been allocated for the Reform BEL which will form part of the new amalgamated Local Authority Education Grant (LAEG). The Reform element of the LAEG will include activity relating to Curriculum, Professional Learning and Leadership, and ALN reform.
£22 million, the same level of funding provided to local authorities and schools in the current financial year, has been transferred into the new grant to support ALN reform.
