What assessment has the Minister made of the impact of councils in Wales cutting their education budgets on the provision of education in local authorities?

I recognise that the UK Government austerity agenda, alongside the cost-of-living crisis, is putting schools and local authorities under significant pressure, and that there are no easy answers to resolving the issues being faced.
It is vital that communication channels are active during these especially difficult times. We have been engaging with our local authorities closely and will continue to do so over the coming year.
