Will the First Minister outline the a) regulated public appointments; and b) unregulated public appointments, that the Welsh Ministers are responsible for making?
Welsh Ministers are responsible for making appointments to 49 regulated public bodies which are detailed in the Privy Council, Order in Council 2023-2-Public-Appointments-Order-In-Council.pdf (independent.gov.uk).
Welsh Ministers are responsible for making appointments to 52 unregulated bodies which voluntarily adhere to the Governance Code on Public Appointments. These include advisory boards, industry and safeguarding boards and committees.
Information on the number of unregulated bodies where Welsh Ministers are responsible for appointments but which do not adhere to the Governance Code is not collected.
