Further to WQ89222, has the Welsh Government given any further consideration to initiating a legal challenge against the UK Government's decision to withhold consequential funding for Wales, given the recent acknowledgement that the total cost of the HS2 London to Birmingham line could be £66 billion?

Further consideration has been given and it has been concluded that the wide discretion the Treasury has would make any challenge unlikely to succeed.
