What ongoing action will the Welsh Government take to ensure that the Social Partnership Council represents the views of all of Wales?

The membership of the Social Partnership Council (SPC) is set out in the First Minister’s Written Statement published on 4 December (https://www.gov.wales/written-statement-membership-social-partnership-council). Members are drawn from national organisations which represent public, private and voluntary sector workers and employers across Wales.  We encouraged nominating bodies to put forward individuals from a wide range of backgrounds to reflect the diversity of the Welsh population, including those with protected characteristics.  I am satisfied the membership of the SPC provides the right blend of expertise and experience to ensure a range of voices are heard.
