What support is the Welsh Government making available to Welsh farmers in the wake of recent severe flooding?

This financial year (2023-24) we have allocated over £75m in Flood and Coastal Erosion Risk Management in Wales, the highest ever annual spend on flood risk management in Wales to date.
We continue to support farmers through a range of schemes to enhance performance and build resilience into their businesses.
Where farmers are unable to meet contract requirements due to severe weather, we would encourage them to contact RPW at the earliest opportunity via their on-line account. We would consider these cases on an individual basis.
