Will the Minister provide an update on the Welcome Ticket for refugees, and if the scheme will be extended?

The current Welcome Ticket was introduced at pace as part of our response to the war in Ukraine and forms part of the Bus Transition Fund which is due to come to an end in March 2024.
As part of the Welsh Government’s commitment to be a Nation of Sanctuary we are working with partners, including sanctuary seekers, to explore options for a sustainable model of the Welcome Ticket in Wales.
