Will the Minister confirm what steps they have put in place to enable councils to change the speed limit back to 30mph on appropriate roads?

In consultation with their local members and communities, and based on Welsh Government guidance, councils made decisions on which roads should be exempt from the default 20mph limit.
As highway authorities, councils have the powers to set local speed limits and there is nothing stopping them from reassessing any of their roads if they wish.
