A breakdown of the components which have been utilised to make up each part of the new Local Authority Education Grant (LAEG) are:
LAEG School Standards (£159.864m)
- Education Improvement Grant (EIG)
- Recruit Recover Raise Standards – the Accelerating Learning Programme
- Foundation Phase Nursery (FPN) Funding
LAEG Equity (£154.865m)
- Pupil Development Grant (PDG)
- Elective Home Education
- Transition support for Minority Ethnic and Gypsy, Roma, Traveller learners
- Community Focussed Schools
- Grant to support and promote a whole school approach to Emotional and Mental Wellbeing*
- Education Welfare Officers
LAEG Reform (£54.405m)
- Curriculum, Professional Learning and Leadership funding (previously within the Regional Consortia Grant (RCG))
- Additional Learning Needs Provision
- Additional Learning Needs Implementation
- Online Individual Development Plan Grant
LAEG Cymraeg 2050 (£9.7m)
- Welsh in Education Grant
- Professional Learning for Welsh Medium (previously within the Regional Consortia Grant (RCG))
- Late Welsh Immersion Grant
- Promote and facilitate the use of the Welsh Language
