What is the Minister doing to support small-scale opera productions across Wales?

Welsh Government support for the Arts is channelled through the Arts Council of Wales (ACW) who operate at arm’s length from Government. All individual funding decisions are made by ACW and the Welsh Government does not intervene in these decisions.
ACW provides support across a range of musical genres, including Opera. Through both multi-year and project funding, ACW has enabled organisations to bring large- and small-scale opera productions to the people of Wales.
