How is the Welsh Government ensuring that local development plans are being adhered to?

Local Planning Authorities (LPAs) should ensure decisions are made in accordance with their adopted Local Development Plan (LDP) a plan containing policies the LPA considers appropriate. The Annual Monitoring Report (AMR) provides evidence of whether the LDP is being delivered, or not. This is a matter for each LPA to evaluate and respond to appropriately.
