What are the costs to health boards of monitoring community pharmacy contract?

Health boards are responsible for monitoring the delivery of the requirements of the community pharmacy contract. The costs of doing so are met from health boards’ overall allocations. Contract monitoring is part of the role of primary care teams within individual health boards and will be part of health board staffing costs.
