What assessment has Welsh Government made of the potential discrepancy in service provision between dental services operating on two separate contracts?

There is no discrepancy in service provision. Regardless of whether a practice is operating solely under Units of Dental Activity (UDA) arrangements, or the 2023/24 variation offer, patients are entitled to the same range of dental procedures. These procedures are set out in Regulation 14 of The National Health Service (General Dental Services Contracts) (Wales) Regulations 2006.
