How is the Welsh Government progressing with the rollout of a Technology Enabled Care Responder Service to all local authorities in Wales?
Welsh Government, working closely with TEC Cymru as the Strategic Programme for Technology Enabled Care in Wales, is actively supporting Local Authorities to deploy technology enabled responder services. Local Authorities cannot be mandated to adopt all-Wales digital services, though TEC Cymru are communicating the benefits of adopting standardised approaches.
Work has taken place between TEC Cymru and all Local Authorities to support the modernisation of their services, identifying opportunities for the future of technology enabled care monitoring in the community, with potential future phases expanding the rollout of standardised responder services across Wales, based on modern and scalable digital technology services.
