Will the Minister outline how much money will allocated to funding the Just Transition Framework for Wales?
The Just Transition Framework sets out Wales’ approach to achieve a transition to net zero by 2050 with fairness at its heart. A successful and just transition will be driven at multiple levels, in multiple sectors and all geographies with the close involvement of the people affected in planning and decision making. A draft toolkit is provided as part of the consultation to support and guide this work, informed by best practice.
While the costs associated with development to date include the analysis of the Call for Evidence (around £50,000) improving the evidence base and existing staff time, the output of this work is to set out guidance and support for others.
