Will the Minister confirm whether the Welsh Government working group to look into young people not in education, employment or training has been set up and, if so, how can external stakeholders link into this?
There are three main external stakeholder groups supporting the Welsh Government to look into young people not in education, employment or training.
The Young Person’s Guarantee (YPG) Stakeholder Group and the Youth Engagement and Progression Framework Group have been in place for a number of years and work closely on issues for consideration and advice to Ministers. More recently the YPG Young Person’s Advisory Board was established in April 2022 with membership consisting of young people aged between 16-24 years old.
