What discussions has the Welsh Government had with counterparts in a) Scotland; and b) England on forthcoming secondary legislation to regulate the placement and price promotion of products high in fat, salt and sugar?

Whilst developing our proposal for this legislation in Wales, my officials have had regular constructive discussions with both the UK and Scottish Government to seek alignment on the restrictions we are taking forward where possible. On areas where the legislation across the three nations may differ, we continue having collective discussions to ensure it is as easy as possible for businesses operating across Great Britain to implement our forthcoming legislation.
