Has the Minister considered reversing the £19 million budget cuts from the Empty Homes Scheme to open up more usable social housing, given the recent increase in temporary accommodation spend?

The £50m allocated to the Empty Homes Grant Scheme is not being cut. We have been clear that the £19 million being released from our Empty Homes scheme in 2023/24 is a deferral of funding and reflects updated spend forecasts.
