What plans does the Welsh Government have to address the current green skills shortage in the construction sector?

I launched the Net Zero Skills Action Plan in February 2023. The Plan includes 36 actions aimed at delivering and supporting the immediate and future skills needs for our net zero journey, this includes the construction sector. In October, I launched the net zero skills consultation (Net zero sector skills | GOV.WALES. The outcome of the consultation will support the development of sector skills roadmaps, which will outline key milestones in terms changes in industry practices aligned to carbon reduction, new technologies, investment, policies, transitioning activities.
