Will the Minister confirm whether the Welsh Government is considering permitting local authorities to set their own fees for planning applications?

Currently planning application fees do not fully cover the cost of processing applications. When we take forward amendments to increase planning application fees, we will begin to address full cost recovery, while ensuring developers and tax payers get an efficient, value for money planning service wherever they live. I do not intend to allow planning application fees to be set locally.
