What plans does the Minister have to support people still suffering from mental health issues as a result of lockdowns in Wales, following the recent study from the Institute for the Psychology of Elite Performance at Bangor University?

We continue to provide a range of easy access support that does not need a referral from a health professional. This includes our CALL helpline, which can offer confidential emotional support and signposting to local services, online cognitive behavioural therapy. and 111 press 2 for urgent mental health support.

Our NHS mental health services continue to be accessible for all individuals that require that level of support.

Significant work has also been undertaken to develop our new mental health strategy that will be published for consultation early next year. The draft strategy has been informed by a wide range of evidence, reports, stakeholders and the views of service users.
