What discussions is the Minister having with the Arts Council of Wales about how they can best support amateur theatre groups?

Welsh Government funding for the arts is channelled through the Arts Council of Wales (ACW) which operates at arm’s length but within the strategic framework we provide. All individual funding decisions are made by ACW and the Welsh Government does not intervene in these decisions. The Welsh Government and ACW maintain a close dialogue through existing arrangements.
