What plans does the Minister have to help improve the average gross value added per head in Conwy county?

Answered by Minister for Economy | Answered on 28/11/2023

The Welsh Government has a number of economic levers which it uses to support areas and regions (including Conwy) across Wales over the medium term. It also monitors and seeks progress across a range of economic measures, including gross value added (per head and per hour worked) but also measures such as employment and household incomes.

I have made an Oral Statement today, 28 November, which will set out my plans and priorities for our Economic Mission moving forward. This will aim to reflect upon the challenging economic climate and will set out my short to medium term priorities across the whole of Wales.
