What progress is the Minister making towards improving the collection and reporting of data relating to dementia diagnosis?

We have previously published a Welsh Health Circular which sets out guidance for health boards in Wales to assist with the recording of a diagnosis of dementia.
Work continues between health boards, Improvement Cymru and Digital Health and Care Wales (DHCW) to support the standardised collection of primary care dementia register data, with the aim of producing diagnostic rates data.
The data will be made publicly available at a regional and national level on a quarterly basis initially, with a view to moving to monthly reporting in the longer term.
