What assessment has the Minister made of the impact of the proposed new national park on the value of farmland within its boundaries?

We have asked NRW to take forward a designation programme that includes detailed assessment, consideration of the evidence, engagement and consultation. This will inform a final decision on any new designation. As part of that evidence gathering, NRW is commissioning research to understand the forces for change affecting, and possible management options for, the area under consideration as a new Park. This will include consideration of a wide range of socio-economic, cultural and environmental factors including the impact on agriculture.
