Will the Welsh Government be investigating the case of the former Director of National Museum Wales's compensation package to ensure that there were no improprieties in relation to financial regulations set out by the Charity Commission?

Amgueddfa Cymru has informed us it took legal advice throughout the process and none of its decisions were made without full and qualified legal consideration. Amgueddfa Cymru has also confirmed it believes it complied with the laws in relation to financial regulations set out by the Charity Commission. It is for the Charity Commission to decide whether to exercise its statutory function to investigate further.
